Fans - Raelene & Jeanette's PageWe are fans of Nana Mouskouri.... It happened by accident, listening to the radio back in the seventies. We are both of the same love-less generational age as Nana, so we can empathise with her. Her smooth singing style stirs in us of memories of long-lost love, feelings that cannot be invoked by the modern style of music, such as rap (music??) and the hard driving style of modern and contemporary rock. The words of Nana's songs are irrelevant (we do not understand Greek, French, Spanish, Italian and the other languages that Nana sings in) - it is the style that appeals to us. If we have trouble getting to sleep at night, we simply play one of Nana's foreign language CD's and we are restfully sleeping before the music fades. Long live Nana!
